Revlon Sees Slight Gain in Sales

Earnings slip, U.S. results decline.

Revlon Inc. said its earnings for the first quarter, ended March 31, fell to $2.2 million from $12.7 million. Results for the most-recent quarter include $9.7 million in expenses to refinance the firm’s credit facilities. Sales inched up 0.7% to $305.5 million. However, the firm’s U.S. sales slid 4.7%, driven by lower turnover of Almay color cosmetics and Revlon beauty tools....
